Chris took the big kids camping on Friday night, and they had a blast! What's not to like? Unlimited marshmallows and sleeping in a tent?! Yes, please! Simon and I had a camp-out of our own - 12 hours straight in bed! Of course, he was up ever 3 hours to eat, but then right back to sleep. I'll take it! We've had 2 nights in a row of that business and are hoping it continues...

Saturday was spent de-campfiring the family - laundry, laundry, laundry. Maya and I had a "date" to Wal Mart and we went for a family drive in the afternoon, followed by breakfast for dinner at Jim's diner - yum!
Life with 3 is starting to feel more "normal". I'm going to try my best to get my act together here in the next couple of weeks. First up? Lots of laundry to catch up on, getting this house organized a little better, writing millions of thank-you notes, cooking my own meals...etc. I'm also hoping to get together with some friends this week and talk to some actual grown-ups! What a concept!
Hope you have a great week!

Dang girl - don't push yourself too hard! Simon is still pretty new, so you have a great excuse to lay low - take advantage of it!
Go ahead and hit me up for some of that grown-up time when you're ready. I know just what you mean, new babies can really bring on the cabin fever before long and you start to wonder if your vocabulary is still intact!
It was great to see you at church today...gorgeous as ever :o)
You girl looks more grown up than ever.
Maya, those curls are gorgeous!
good luck on the laundry. take it easy, though!
Maya is really turning into a gorgeous girl! You're gonna have to watch her the older she gets :)
Sounds like your "to-do" list is the exact same as mine. Good luck to both of us!
Love it that things are falling into the new normal routine for you. Kiddoes are cute as can be, and loved the pictures of the curls.
Hi Natalie,
I don't know if you remember me or not, but I was in your ward in Las Vegas. Jamie Garl.
Congratulations on your new little one and your kids are adorable!
I found your blog through Ruths.
What fun for Maya and Mason - camping is the best (especially when I don't have to go along) Glad to hear that things are going well. Maya's hair looks darling in her curls and I just love the instructions that she left for you before she went camping. - So precious!
I would really like to know how you take care of 3 kids, but only have 2 arms. Christian calls this going from a man-to-man defense, to a zone defense!!
I swear the first six weeks with a new baby are the worst. Then you slip into a routine and things are great!
Sounds like the kids had fun camping. And Maya looks great with curls :)
Chris is an amazing dad to take kids camping all on his own. What a great guy! I hope you cross off half of your to-so list and just relax for a little while longer. We're jsut past the 8 week mark over here, and things are only now settling into a routine...so go easy on yourself!
Have you seen the Gap we Three Kings commercial? It made me think of you since you play the bells and you LOVE Christmas music...
I hope the long nights of rest have continued too!
