I'm getting excited about the kids' (Maya - 6th, Simon - 1st) in October. Maya's theme is "Fancy Tea Party" and Simon's is a carnival theme. I love
this cute table. And I'll definitely be pulling some inspiration from this
amazing party, as well.
Any ideas for either theme?

Nope no ideas but I'm totally thinking of stealing the carnival one (hmm, imagine that, me stealing your idea!) Not sure for which kid though. Got all my birthdays coming up so the wheels have been turning here too. I did see a ton of carnival-ish stuff in Oriental Trading though that would be way fun for that party. Good luck! I love the colors and the animal crackers in the background - Simon's party will be awesome. (as will Maya's tea party!)
Yeah, I am trying to figure out birthday party stuff too...I think Savannah's is going to be monkey themed, and I'm still working on Seth's. I know that Maya and Simon will have great parties...you are just that awesome!
My sister-in-law did a tea party for one of her girls' 4th birthday. She scoured the thrift stores for old teacups so all the girls would have a fancy cup to drink out of. Then they had pink lemonade and little sandwich squares. For a game, maybe you can play Pretty Pretty Princess with "real" jewelry they can take home.
My husbands cousin did a tea party for her little girl. She did the cutest party favor bags that looked like big tea bags. The tags had each guests name on it. It was really cute. I'm thinking of ideas for my little Abby's 4th. She want the Curious George theme. So if you have any ideas shoot them my way. I love the carnival idea too. I may look at that site for some ideas.
