1st Birthday Cake = A Childhood Ritual

Simon got the whole top tier of his birthday cake to himself on his birthday, of course, Yes, the one with the pink ring around it. Man, I really should have invested in the good food coloring. Oh well.

Not so sure what to do with it...

After a sample bite, though, he was good to go...

Yeah, see, it ain't so bad!

A genetic love of cake...

I love this birthday boy!

Those little curls! Don't ever cut them. That cake was huge!

Okay...I didn't know you were pregnant. What are you CRAZY?! I have a friend who has a little boy the same age as Jackson and then immediately got pregnant. Her babies are going to be 15 months apart. CRAZY ladies. But I'm so happy for you!

that must be one of the perks of living in Texas: outdoor parties in November! Simon, you carry on a proud tradition. Natalie, you look lovely, which I thought was against the rules of the 1st Trimester!
